A1 Computer Training has three main aims for every training session:

Firstly and most obviously to teach all participants new features of the program(s) in question.

The second aim is to boost everyone's productivity with heaps of time saving tips and tricks.  All training manuals feature easy to follow step-by-step instructions and include handy lists of keyboard shortcuts and other such tricks of the trade.

The third goal is to facilitate learning by making the training as enjoyable and hands-on as possible.  The instructor methodically demonstrates each step visually using their own laptop and data projector, while the attendees follow along on their own computers.  To create a hands-on environment it is ideal that every participant has their own computer, or no more than two per computer.  If your organisation isn't able to provide enough computers for the sessions, laptops can be hired at very reasonable rates, subject to availability.   Time permitting* the sessions include numerous revision exercises to help participants fully comprehend each concept covered.

*  Half day sessions typically involve less revision exercises due to the time constraints involved.

Each session utilises several training files which need to be installed on the computers beforehand.  The files can be sent by email and installed by one of your staff members or the trainer can install the files via a USB flashdrive prior to the commencement of the training.  If using the latter method,  please ensure that there are no security settings that will prevent the proper installation of the files and cause delays.

All training is backed up by free email support for three months afterwards.

Manuals are provided in PDF format by default to avoid unnecessary consumption of paper.  Clients can then choose to print how many manuals they require and in what format such as double-sided, colour, etc.  However hardcopy manuals can be provided for all participants at a small extra charge, if required.
